Hawaiian Ham and Cheese Sliders

As I have shared in this blog several times, my wife Sarah Buckner is currently in her 3rd trimester of her pregnancy meaning she has certain cravings from time to time.  With me loving to cook new things, this works out great!  She called me today at work to tell me all about this great sandwich that her co-worker Sara Slavens had shared with her.  She went on and on about how great these Sandwiches were.  After making them tonight, I can now see what all the fuss is about.  I call these Hawaiian Ham & Cheese Sliders.

1 lb Shaved Ham from the deli (A sweet ham, like brown sugar or honey)

1/2″-3/4″ lb Baby Swiss Cheese sliced

Minced Onions

Yellow Mustard

Wochestire Sauce

1-2 packages of Sweet Hawaiin Rolls

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.  While oven is preheating cover a baking pan with aluminum foil, and spray down with a non-stick cooking spray.  Cut Sweet Rolls in half and start assembling Cheese on bottom, Shaved Ham, then more Cheese on top, finishing them off with the other half of the Roll.  Repeat this process as many times as you can until the Rolls/Ham/Cheese are gone.  The more Cheese the better.  In a separate mixing bowl, melt 1 stick of Butter or 3/4″ cup of Margarine.  Once melted, add 1.5 tablespoons of Yellow Mustard, 1.5 teaspoons of Worchestire sauce, 1.5 tablespoons of dry Minced Onions, and 1.5 tablespoons of Poppyseeds.  Wisk mixture together until well mixed.  Push all your sandwiches together to make what seems like one huge sandwich.  You want to push them all together so they all come together and are touching.  Now evenly spoon out mixture on top of the sandwiches.  Once finished pouring the mixture all over the tops of the Sandwiches, bake for 12 minutes on 375 degrees.  When you are finished, you are going to come up with some of the best Mini Sandwich Sliders you will ever taste.  These are perfect to take to a party or great for a night in.  Thanks again to Sara Slavens for the wonderful recipe.
