Wild Ginger

On my quest to find the best restaurants in my town, I started this journey at a new restaurant called Wild Ginger in Fishers, IN.  It is an Asian Restaurant thats known for its sushi.  It is run by a family who has been in the restaurant business for over 20 years, and it shows.  As soon as I pulled up to the restaurant, I knew that I was going to like it.  It had a very “new” and “fresh” feel to it.  As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by some very welcoming employees who helped me to my seat.  One huge plus of this restaurant is location.  It is located on 116th St and Fishers Pointe Blvd (next to the CVS).  Because it was such a beautiful day our yesterday, I was able to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and wonderful atmosphere that this restaurant offered.

When I started to look over the menu, I realized that they had ALOT of choices.  As I read through all the delicious choices, I decided on the California Roll and a Mistake Roll.  They were served with Soy Sauce, Wasabi and Ginger.  The California Roll is Crab and Avacado wrapped in Rice.  The Mistake Roll was Tuna wrapped in Rice then served Tempura style.  It was then drizzled with a delicious spicy sauce that really set it off.  Both rolls were tremendous.  They were much larger than I had expected and the taste was top of the line.  I have been to several sushi places in the past, and I can tell you that this place is THE BEST!  Go check out this new and fun restaurant and let me know how you liked it (Visit them online for the full Wild Ginger menu)!

Sounds really delicious. For your “road” sushi, try Sumo Boy in Mentor, Ohio (East of Cleveland) –small, friendly with a huge tasty menu and a great view of the Sushi Chef in action.
